Christine and Jules’ 4th July Extravaganza!

Not all trails are mountain bike accessible; some areas you can only get to on foot. We’ll slow down the pace for some hiking and be rewarded by the views at the top! Gift is per day.

Although most of our mountain biking will be at trails around the Lake, we can’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy Mountain Biking at Northstar Resort. There are over 100 miles of trails that include the lift assisted access to many downhill trails as well as cross country trails. Gift is per lift ticket.

The Main Attraction: Mountain Biking at Lake Tahoe’s various natural trails! We have our legs, our bikes, and our gear. Most trails have no fees. This will cover any other essentials for the day like meals, transportation, or rewarding ourselves with some refreshing, cold adult beverages when we’re finally done! Gift is per day.

We’ll enjoy a peaceful sail on the Woodwind I Trimaran on a cruise to Emerald Bay. Gift is per person.

We’ll take in the sights and the sounds around us while we relax on the beach, sip on refreshing beverages, and recharge for another adventure filled day. Gift is per day.

We’ll give our legs a break while we do some flat-water paddling on Lake Tahoe. We’ll get to see the Lake’s beauty up close! Gift is per person, per day.

There are so many other ways to enjoy the Lake! Windsurfing, Parasailing, Jetskis, Waterskis… Help us decide! Gift is per day.

We’ll enjoy an exciting two hour cruise along Lake Tahoe’s scenic West Shore on the Tahoe Cruz, with panoramic views of the lake as well as views of lakeshore estates, surrounding mountain peaks, the Sunnyside Resort and “Fleur du Lac” the onsite location for the filming of “The Godfather”. Gift is per person.

The Truckee River is Lake Tahoe’s only outlet. This is a 7-mile guided white water adventure on the Truckee River, with many Class 2-3 rapids for the first 6 miles and exciting Class 3+ rapids in the last mile. Gift is per person.

We’ll be immersed in history as we take a cruise on the restored classic wooden Tahoe, and enjoy a narrated tour of the East Shore. We’ll stop at the magnificent Thunderbird Lodge Historic Site for a guided educational tour, and marvel at the property and it’s many features and collections. Gift is per person.

This is a 3 hour party on the Tahoe Queen. We’ll be anchored on the lake, and enjoy dinner, dancing, and live entertainment! Afterwards we’ll have a front row seat to Lights on the Lake Fourth of July Celebration! Gift is per person.

Help us get to our fabulous destination and back. Without this we’d be hanging around an airport for two weeks!

This vehicle upgrade will help us be a lot more comfortable as we get to our destinations, and give us more room for our bikes and gear.

Built as a summer home in 1929, this grand castle on Emerald Bay is considered one of the finest examples of Scandinavian architecture in the Western Hemisphere.

We’ll stroll through the former summer homes and gardens of the wealthy gilded-age families…. Chris promises not to take any of the pretty trinkets that she sees as a souvenir.

This is one for all you romantics out there. Picture this: a warm summer day, a leisurely ride in an antique European Carriage and a newly married couple.

We’ll put straw between our teeth and play the banjo (well, ok maybe not) as we mosey on down the trails in our little wagon.

Ye Haw!! Ride ‘em cowboy! We’d love to ride the horses along the beautiful Carson Valley down a 100 year ‘Old Country Ranch’ trail. We’ll listen to the Old Time Stories of the Pony Express, Stagecoaches and Indians and tell you all about them when we get home.

The ‘Lights on the Lake’ is the largest synchronized fireworks display west of the Mississippi. We’ll grab a picnic (and maybe a few beers), find a spot on the beach and enjoy.

After a long day mountain biking, we’ld like to just crash at our cottage for a Relaxing, Cozy dinner that includes a fresh cooked meal as well as a campfire and marshmallows! Gift is per day.

We’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the lake at this restaurant on the boardwalk of South Lake Tahoe. We’ll have a great selection of seafood and steaks and an extensive wine list.

We’ll dine in a casual yet elegant atmosphere and enjoy various Mexican, Southwest and other Latin influenced dishes.

We’ll enjoy an eclectic dinner at a rustic eatery, and have a scenic view of the majestic Sierra Nevada and the Truckee River Canyon. We might even be treated to some live local music.

We’ll enjoy a dinner of comforting European Cuisine at one of the oldest restaurants in Lake Tahoe. So many dishes to choose from, including German, Hungarian, and Swiss.

We’ll have a wonderful dinner as we experience a comfortable atmosphere, great food, breathtaking scenery and panoramic views of Lake Tahoe.

We’ll be treated to rich and delicious masterpieces as well as light and delightful dishes in a cozy Country French atmosphere.

We’ll have a lovely selection of sophisticated, yet rustic Italian/Mediterranean dishes from Pianeta’s Tuscan inspired menu. We’ll experience an Old World atmosphere in the remodelled old downtown Truckee brick building.

After our romantic carriage ride, we’d love to have a gourmet meal at the Echo Restaurant.

We’ll be treated to cuisine that is Seasonal California with French influenced sauces, in an intimate, romantic setting with panoramic views of the Lake, and a spectacular sunset.

We’ll be charmed by a warm and cozy atmosphere, and enjoy delicious dishes, while tasteful cool jazz or classical music quietly play as an aural backdrop.

One of the finest restaurants in the whole of Lake Tahoe, with the most perfect views. We’ll try to visit at sunset and enjoy a glass of Champagne.

Our wonderfully Cozy Cottage is nestled among pine trees close to the lake shore. Built in the 1920s, each cottage is completely unique; we’ll get back to nature with total rustic charm. Gift is per night.
